I can't tell you how exactly how many equestrian related shots I have done so far in my career, but it has to be well over a thousand.
When I started my first independent studio, Foxwood was one of my first clients (we started to work together even before the studio was built). Talk about jumping from the frying pan into the fire: we started right away shooting a 300 page catalog with studio shots, location shots, models, horses, sheep, steers... you name it.
Every piece of new equipment I had purchased for the studio was unpacked and dragged straight out into the field the day it arrived. I was exhausted at the end of each day... but, I learned a lot.
